8 Lessons people learn too late in life

Life is a continuous learning experience. Throughout our lives we keep rising and falling, picking up important lessons along the way. Some of these lessons come from experience, yet there are others that we learn watching others or reading in books for example. No matter how much we learn from the books there is a significant difference between practical and theoretical experience. Furthermore, there are many life lessons that we simply cannot learn until we face certain situations in our life. Most people would say that there are some lessons that come too late, catching us off-guard and unprepared.

The following list unveils some of the most important lessons in life that people learn the hard way.

With a multitude of people that you just temporarily meet, you might feel sad or even depressed when they finally decide to move on without you.

Others might leave you without notice when you show them your real self, lowering your self-esteem.

But you need to understand that not all people you meet will be with you for better or for worse, people come and go and only a few will never go and accept you truly.

Your diet is not only what you eat. It’s what you watch, what you listen to, what you read, the people you hang around… be mindful of the things you put into your body emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

Do you sometimes feel like you don’t love your life? Like, deep inside, something is missing?

That’s because we are living someone else’s life. We allowed other people to influence or determine our choices—we are trying to please their expectations.

Social pressure is deceiving—we all become prey without noticing it. Before we realize we lost control of our lives, we end up envying how other people live. We can only see the greener grass—ours is never good enough.

To regain that passion for the life you want, you must recover ownership of your choices.

Few things feel as painful as rejection. Regardless what form it takes—not being invited to a friend’s party, not being offered a position after an interview, having your actions criticized, or failure when you’re trying to sell your idea—every “no” indicates a door closed to us

Rejection will enhance whatever negative things you say to yourself, so practice different self-talk. Notice what you say to yourself; thoughts like “It’s all my fault” or “What is wrong with me?” are not useful and only bring you down. Rejection happens to everyone; even the most successful and confident people don’t always get what they want, but most of those people acknowledge the rejection as outside of them and don’t start telling themselves how terrible they really are. Notice what you say to yourself and choose to build yourself up, not tear yourself down.

Accepting personal responsibility – which is taking ownership of your own behavior and the consequences of that behavior. Until you accept responsibility for your actions or failures, it’ll be very difficult for you to develop self-respect or even have the respect of others in the future.

Because a quality friend can be counted on to be there for you. If your car breaks down, you want reliable help on the way, not just one of a herd of casual friends.

True friends give their all and are there when you need their help or someone to party with. You are blessed to have a few good friends, they will be by you always.

NOT conforming to society might just be the best decision you can ever make. To quote the Apple commercial Think Different – it’s the “crazy ones” that achieve the success.

Fun is different for all. Fun is simply the thing which one loves.

When we are kids, sports is fun for all. Whereas some of us turned out to be doctors, engineers, businessmans and defination of Fun changes, But those who choose sports as careers. They enjoy and have fun so much that they take sports as their career…

Fun is anything which we love to do, which we enjoy, which gives us pleasure, which provides soothing effects. Hence it depends upon person to person.

Every character is different and have fun in a different zone.
